Taking a look at what our country has acheived, I am proud.

What we have acheived today took other countries much longer time. But, we are still a nation in the building. There are a lot more to be done. A lot more tolerance are needed. But, can we get that from the people of Singapore?

More singaporeans are getting educated. This results in more people demanding for more. Fair enough. But, they failed to see what they already have. The government cannot give everything to the people. It is only logical for us to get what we want. 'Cradle-to-Grave' policy is not beneficial to the society. In short, it makes the people lazy, demanding, and do not know what it means to work hard for what they wants.

Singapore will go through hardships, as seen in many other countries, developing or developed. Reason is simple: Times change, people change, thinking change, the needs and wants will also change. It takes a lot of effort to effect these changes, especially if we want it in a short time. The people must be more understanding to the prevailing government. Since we chose them, we have to believe in them. We let them know what we need, and let them help us get it. Give them no further pressure.

Singapore is still a young country. There is still a lot for us to learn. Let us be proud of what has been acheived, and forgive those little hiccups along the way. No system is perfect. But, compared to others, our system is considered one of the best. Let us stay this way, and give our heartful graditude to those who made this possible, and give our best support to those who will continue the good job.

This is how i feel.
